Notice of Intent to Sole Source Special Notice: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District (USACE) will be soliciting proposals for the Army Reserve Center (Training Building and Unheated Storage Building) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, OH. As part of the construction contract solicitation, USACE intends to include the following sole source requirements: Trane Chillers – Manufacturer is required as they are the base standard for chiller systems. Johnson Controls Fire Alarm/Mass Notification System Equipment – Manufacturer is required in order to tie into the base fire alarm/mass notification system. Predator Linx Intrusion Detection System - Manufacturer is required in order to tie into the base intrusion detection system. Siemens Talon or Johnson Control Energy Monitoring and Control System – One of the two manufacturers listed are required to interface with the existing base energy monitoring and control system without the use of third party interface hardware/software. Dayton Power and Light – Privatized Utility company is the only authority to review and accept new work on their Electrical infrastructure. The following manufacturers were used for the Government’s Basis of Design on interior finishes (including flooring, base, wall and ceiling finishes), but equal products can be used: Interface, Atlas Concorde, Tarkett, Nora, Stonhard, Daltile, Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, Armstrong, Aristech, Formica, Penco, C/S Group Acrovyn, Schluter Systems, Magnuson Group, 2/90 Sign Systems, Mecho Shade, Avonite, Oasis Enclosures, Claridge, Modernfold, MDC Interior Solutions. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 10:00 AM EST on 2 Decemeber 2021 to krishna.menon@usace.army.mil.
