Description:
**This is just advance notice. We intend to use Unison Marketplace. The Unison Marketplace number will be W911WN22Q3009** The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Pittsburgh District, has requirement to provide snow removal and ice control services at the following locations: 1) Pittsburgh Engineer Warehouse and Repair Station (PEWARS), 3500 Grand Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15225; and 2) The West View COOP Site, 100 Valley Hi Drive, West View, PA 15229. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, material, equipment, labor, and other items and services necessary to perform snow removal, ice removal and ice control services for the PEWARS installation, which encompasses approximately 50,000 square feet of parking area, 3,000 feet of roadway, and approximately 5,500 square feet of sidewalks, loading docks, exterior stairs, building entrances, emergency exit doors, handicap ramps, flagpole area, fire hydrants and Security Guard area, and the West View COOP Site, which encompasses approximately 3,500 square feet of parking area and 2,750 feet of roadway. The contractor shall also provide on-site pretreatment prior to each storm event and must be prepared to start work and provide continuous services as requested by the COR until each storm event has ended and all areas are clean and free of snow and ice in accordance with procedures established in the Performance Work Statement which will be provided with the solicitation. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 561790, Other Services to Buildings and Dwellings, and the small business size standard is $8,000,000. The proposed period of performance will be a base year from the Date of Award – 30 April 2022 with four (4), one (1) year option periods. The Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The resulting award will be for one (1) Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Contract. Offerors must have a current and active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time of quote submission in order to be awarded a contract.
