Original Set Aside:

The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, Fort Carson Health Contracting Branch intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price, sole source purchase order to Colorado State University, Veterinary Diagnostic Lab, Veterinary Hospital, 300 W Drake, Fort Collins, Colorado under authority FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), purchase not exceeding the simplified threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization. For the purpose of emergency veterinary care, diagnostics and in-patient supportive care for a Government Owned Animal (GOA) / Military Working Dog (MWD). Due to the compelling urgency, the Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances deem only one source was reasonably available. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency for future like requirements. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information that is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will not be honored and any information provided will not be used for subsequent solicitation requirements. Telephonic inquiries will not be honored.
