Historically, the Joint Program Executive Office Armaments and Ammunition (JPEO A&A) has participated within the Munitions Executive Summit (MES) hosted by the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). This year, JPEO A&A will participate in the 2021 Future Force Capabilities Conference and Exhibition located at the Columbus Georgia Convention & Trade Center, 801 Front Avenue, Columbus, GA 31901 being held October 18 – 21, 2021. The JPEO A&A traditionally publishes an Advanced Planning Briefing to Industry (APBI) Guidebook in support of the MES. The purpose of this special notice is to post the Single Manager for Conventional Ammunition (SMCA) APBI Guidebook. This guidebook contains information on the JPEO A&A enterprise and its subordinate project management offices, as well as other organizations in the Ammunition Enterprise. Appendix A of this document details Business Opportunities for the current Fiscal Year (FY21) as well as planned requirements for FY22. Appendix B lists the Science and Technology Focus Areas for the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center. The United States Government makes no representations that the items listed within this guidebook will be procured for the funding listed, in the timeframes specified, or at all, given the fiscal climate. This is a planning document and is subject to change. No information contained within the guidebook should be perceived by interested parties as definitive.
