Description:

Original Set Aside:

The Naval Air Warfare Center – Aircraft Division, Lakehurst (NAWCAD LKE) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a firm-fixed price Contract on a Limited-Competitive basis between AVIBANK, CAGE 84256, and their approved vendors for the procurement of various AVIBANK tools for JSF Tool Control. The full list of items being procured is included as an attachment below. AVIBANK and their authorized distributors are the only vendors that can provide the tools to meet the Governments requirement. The required tool boxes have been previously designed and purchased by the JSF program at the squadron level. This effort is a continuation of the tool boxes already in place at the squadron level. The tool boxes are designed for specific maintenance tasks in which training is conducted utilizing these exact tools and the manuals for the repairs have been written to include these tools. In order to ensure that all servicemen are trained on servicing the JSF aircraft/equipment and can perform their designated tasks quickly, efficiently and no matter their location, JSF tools are the same from one squadron to the next. Logistical problems would occur should another manufacturer's tools be used. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which, if received by the date and time listed on this posting, shall be considered by the agency. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Responses to this notice must include the company name, point of contact, address, area code and telephone number, electronic mail (e-mail) address and company literature sufficient to determine the capability of this company to perform this effort. No phone inquiries will be entertained. Responses shall be made in writing by e-mail to the attention of Meryl Czaplinski at meryl.s.czaplinski.civ@us.navy.mil. DO NOT SEND CAPABILITY STATEMENTS. DO NOT SEND CORRESPONDENCE FOR UNRELATED MATTERS.
