THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS POSTED AT THE BETA.SAM.GOV WEBSITE AT sam.gov/ . THERE ARE NO SPECIFICATIONS TO PROVIDE FOR THIS REQUIREMENT AT THIS TIME AS THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT - READ CAREFULLY. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interested parties should respond. The 106th Rescue Wing of the New York Air National Guard is seeking small business contractors interested to test, inspect, and service twelve (12) Halon 1211 150lb Fire Extinguishers. This Sources Sought notice is being issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, Market Research. Its sole purpose is to provide information for planning and market research purposes only and shall not be construed as either a solicitation or obligation on the part of the 106th Rescue Wing. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to help the 106th Rescue Wing understand industry best practices, technical solutions, and sources capable of meeting the requirements detailed by this solicitation. The 106th Rescue Wing welcomes responses from all Small Business interested parties; however, no decision or award of contract will be made on the basis of responses from industry. The 106th Rescue Wing will not pay for the preparation of, nor the subsequent use of, information submitted in response to this Sources Sought. Respondents will not be notified of the outcome of the 106th Rescue Wing’s review of the information received. Additionally, the 106th Rescue Wing does not intend to hold discussions concerning this with any interested parties, but reserves the right to contact vendors if additional information is required for clarifications as it pertains to this Sources Sought. All interested concerns will provide this 3 November 2021. This notification should include: A positive statement of intent to bid. A completed and signed Source Sought Information Request Form. A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, contract number, location, and point of contact are to be included. Indicate if you were the prime or subcontractor, and if the subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract.
