Original Set Aside:

The purpose of this notice is to comply with the pre-solicitation notice requirements of FAR 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission to Zambia intends to issue a solicitation for a small-business set aside to conduct agreed-upon procedures on the usage and distribution of Artemisinin-Based Combination Therapy (ACT) Malaria commodities funded by USAID during the period of September 1, 2020, to August 31, 2021. This will include reviewing the supply chain for the USAID-funded ACT commodities at the central-level, provincial-level and facility-level and providing detailed analysis and findings, corroborated by data and data sources, on deviations from Standard Operating Procedures and information on discrepancies between data sources at each level of the supply chain. This notice of intent in no way obligates USAID to issue solicitation, nor does it commit the U.S Government any costs incurred in the preparation and submission of the foregoing. Please refer any questions or comments to the attention of Brian LeCuyer, Contracting Officer, and Acquisition and Assistance Specialist Doreen Muleya at the email address listed.
