Description:
The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price commodity contract for purchase of SIMX VR equipment and software for 374th Medical Group (374 MDG), Yokota Air Base, JP. Requirement Description: This system will provide accessible, reproducible, standardized VR clinical training on demand that delivers a safe learning environment which fosters practice to improve performance. SimX VALOR VRMSS 3P Pro Starter Bundle The work under this contract constitutes a Phase III Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) award as defined by the Small Business Administration (SBA) SBIR Policy Directive Section 4(c) IAW the SBA SBIR Policy Directive: “The competitions for SBIR Phase I and Phase II awards satisfies any competition requirement of the Armed Services Procurement Act, the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act, and the Competition in Contracting Act.” This is NOT a request for quotations or proposals.
