Description:
1. GENERAL: This is a non-personal services contract to provide onsite document destruction. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the Government. a) Description of Services/Introduction: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform secure, onsite document destruction. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. Destroy by cross cut-shredding or otherwise completely destroying the media so that PII is both not readable and is beyond reconstruction. Refer to NIST SP800-88, http://csrc.nist.gov/publications/PubsSPs.html b) Background: The Wyoming Air National Guard has a requirement for secure, onsite document destruction. c) Objectives: a. Provide onsite document destruction b. Provide lockable, portable document container/cabinet for shredding services c. Provide scheduled service (every 3rd Thursday of the month) with uniformed operator to visit site and empty document containers. 2. SCOPE: Services includes: a) Contractor shall provide lockable, portable document container/cabinet for shredding services for the following: b) Contractor shall provide a monthly scheduled service with a uniformed operator to visit site and empty document containers. The contents of each container shall be immediately taken to a mobile shredding truck, and all materials shall be shredded on-site before leaving premises. *Note - not all containers will require services monthly. The Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) will determine which containers will require service. c) Contractor shall produce a certificate of destruction at each visit in accordance with Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) A002. A single certificate to include all serviced buildings shall be provided to the COR to verify that all materials have been destroyed. d) Contractor shall provide to COR a master key that opens all containers.
