Request for Information (RFI) Basic Electronics Maintenance Trainer – Next Generation (BEMT-X) The US Army Contracting Command – Orlando (ACC-ORL) on behalf of the Program Executive Office for Simulation Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) Virtual Training Systems (VTS) team is seeking information for market research purposes in support of the upcoming Basic Electronics Maintenance Trainer – Next Generation (BEMT-X) requirement. NOTE: THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS. This RFI is for planning and informational purposes only and is not an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. The Government will NOT be responsible for any costs incurred in responding to this RFI or in furnishing the requested information. Per FAR 15.201(e), “RFIs may be used when the Government does not presently intend to award a contract, but wants to obtain price, delivery, other market information, or capabilities for planning purposes. Responses to these notices are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.” Under the authority of 10 U.S.C. § 2371b, there is NO commitment by the U.S. Government to procure any products or services nor will the Government reimburse any parties for costs associated with this request.
