Synopsis of Proposed Contract Action: U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia-Pacific Northwest Regional Office intends to award a sole-source, Time and Materials contract to Jacobs Engineering Group, 199 Bryan St. Suite 1200, Dallas, TX 75201-6823, a large business. This requirement is to provide Technical Support to complete the construction phase of the Grand Coulee Dam Fire Station. Jacobs produced the design of the Fire Station and has provided all the technical support up to this point. As the Engineer of Record, Jacobs assumes full liability for the design plans they created for this project. Jacobs will also provide any incidental Architectural and Engineering services. This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 "Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions". Additionally, in accordance with FAR 6.302-(b)(1)(i), the item to be purchased is available from only one source. The NAICS code is 541990, All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is $16.5 million. If any firms believe they can provide this product they must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement to smcooper@usbr.gov within 3 business days of this notice. No solicitation package is available and telephone requests will not be honored. Any information received will be treated as market research information for future or similar acquisitions. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia-Pacific Northwest Region is not responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED PUBLICLY.
