Original Set Aside:

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to noncompetitively procure renewal of nine (9) GoldSim Pro with Radionuclide Transport Module and two (2) GoldSim Distributed Processing Module Plus Pro Software Upgrades and Maintenance Support Licenses to GoldSim Technology Group LLC; 22500 SE 64th Place, Suite 240; Issaquah, Washington 98027-8111. The NRC requires the brand name software and has confirmed that GoldSim does not have resellers. The NRC currently uses this proprietary software that has a full range of requirements for performing performance assessment modeling of complex decommissioning sites and proposed high-level waste repository sites. This noncompetitive acquisition is conducted under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Only one source reasonably available.
