The intent of this notice is to conduct market research and identify potential contractors that are capable of performing the work in Japan and interested in the Department of Navy’s requirement for FACILITY WEIGHT HANDLING EQUIPMENT (WHE) MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES AT MARINE CORPS INSTALLATIONS PACIFIC (MCIPAC) MCB CAMP SMEDLEY D. BUTLER OKINAWA, JAPAN. The information will be used within the NAVFAC Far East Contracting Division and will not be disclosed outside the agency. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. Naval Facilities Engineering Command Far East (NAVFAC FE) FEAD Camp Butler is seeking qualified contractors and subcontractors that are licensed to conduct business in Japan for Facility Weight Handling Equipment (WHE) Maintenance and Repair Services. SERVICES DESCRIPTION: The proposed Facility Weight Handling Equipment (WHE) Maintenance and Repair Services will require the contractor to furnish all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide the WHE Maintenance and Repair Services at Marine Corps Installations Pacific (MCIPAC), MCB Camp S.D. Butler Okinawa, Japan. (e.g., Camp Schwab, Camp Foster, Camp Hansen, Camp Courtney, Camp Kinser, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Futenma, Jungle Warfare Training Center). Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price/IDIQ Services contract with RECURRING and NON-RECURRING services. Anticipated period of performance is a two (2) Months Phase-In Period, ten (10) months Base Period and four (4) one-year Option periods. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Government to issue a Solicitation or award a contract. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on responses. Entities responding to this Sources Sought Notice should submit the minimum information necessary for the Government to make a determination that adequate business entities exist that are capable of satisfying the Government’s requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811310 Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance. It is requested that interested firms capable of providing the requested services submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages, including attachments if any) demonstrating your ability to perform the requested services. The documentation shall address, at a minimum, the following: COMPANY PROFILE to include all of the following: (1) Company name and address; (2) Company point of contact (including title, telephone and fax numbers and email address); and (3) If your company is registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) website, please indicate your DUNS Number and CAGE code. RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: Indicate your experience in providing services for the requirement stated above. Please indicate number of years of experience. SUBCONTRACTORS: If known, provide established subcontractor arrangements or partnerships with other companies (Optional). LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: Indicate any applicable local/and or industry certification your company or employee possess relevant to this procurement.
