Original Set Aside:

The purpose of this project is for the design and construction of a new 36,218 sq. ft. Crash Rescue Station at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. The new facility will provide a Large Headquarters Station that is sited to serve both fight lines and the Installation?s structures, and support current and future flying missions at the base. The new Crash Rescue Station Facility scope includes combined emergency communication center, fourteen aircraft rescue firefighting apparatus equipment/maintenance bays, residential, training areas, gym, conference rooms, administration and management offices, an alternate emergency operations center, clean/dirty rooms for special equipment, logistics warehouse, response trailer storage and necessary recreation (television room/lounge/dining/kitchen) space, heating ventilation and air conditioning, electrical, communication, fire detection/suppression and mass notification/intercom systems, site preparations, parking lot, landscaping, storm water management, utilities and utilities connection, emergency generator with fuel tank and automatic transfer switch, and all other necessary work associated with this project.
