Original Set Aside:

The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to issue a modification to N00173-16-C-2029, to increase the total value of the contract by providing a 6-month extension. The Naval Research Laboratory Command Support Division (Code 1200) requires contractor services for the operation, maintenance, and security of several secure facilities located at the Naval Research Laboratory Washington, DC site. The Contractor will provide appropriately cleared personnel to execute a comprehensive facility operational maintenance for two secure buildings. Additionally, the contractor will provide related security support services on a lab-wide basis. This notice is being posted to meet the requirements of DFARS 206.302-1 and FAR Subpart 6.3. A solicitation for this immediate action will not be posted; however, any firm that believes it can meet this requirement may give written notification to the Contract Specialist by the closing date of this announcement. Supporting evidence must be in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to provide comparable experience. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered. However, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
