Original Set Aside:

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) is releasing solicitation No. N00167-22-R-0003, Hydrodynamic Shaping Material (HYSHMA) Qualification. This requirement is to qualify potential offerors to produce HYSHMA materials in the desired quantities for unique submarine propulsor requirements. As part of qualification, the contractor shall develop processing equipment required to produce HYSHMA in the required quantities for qualification. The contractor shall accomplish the qualification requirements and deliver to the Government reports and data required for qualification. The NAICS code is 541715, size standard 1000 employees. The PSC will be 2010 – Ship and Boat Propulsion Components. The resultant contract will be a either a Single Award or Multiple Award Cost Sharing Contract, depending on the quality of the proposals received, with the Government providing 50% of the costs for the proposed amount. The Government’s cost share total shall not exceed $500,000.00.
