Description:
The GE Aviation F414 Fan Case Injection Mold Fixtures are used to inject mold silicone rubber into the three (3) F414 fan stator case flow-paths. The mold fixtures are an integral part of the manufacturing and industrial facility equipment at FRCSE and are needed to maintain depot repair production capability to meet the increasing demand for F414 Engine Fan modules. The existing two (2) fixtures at FRCSE have required periodic repairs and adjustments; procuring additional fixtures provides the opportunity for a more sustained preventive maintenance program.
