Description:

Original Set Aside:

Obtain professional design, construction and independent testing/commissioning verification services necessary to reconfigure existing base electrical systems using existing and new equipment to provide, a resilient and sustainable electrical power microgrid system that is electromagnetic pulse (EMP) hardened, complete and useable at this facility. The system will be capable of closed transition to/from utility operations and capable of accepting solar power from an adjacent utility owned facility during grid outages. This system will interface with a common communications protocol, controls, protective relays and energy meters in all emergency generators, paralleling switchboards and MV switchgear. The microgrid will also include a common method of interfacing with the existing base Direct Digital Control (DDC) system by Automated Logic Control (ALC) which controls all base building HVAC systems. System installation will include all supporting structures and equipment required to provide a fully functioning distributed paralleling generator microgrid.
