Original Set Aside:

The US Army Futures Command, Combat Capabilities Development Command – Soldier Center (CCDC-SC), Natick Contracting Division, intends to award a firm, fixed-price contract under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Only One Responsible Source, and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Government Requirements, for two (2) sets of twelve (12) Opal Motion Studio Systems, that include the required sensors, docking stations, receivers, straps, remote, hub and carrying case. APDM Wearable Technologies, Inc. is the only responsible source capable of providing the requested devices, as the Government requires new devices that are compatible with the existing APDM hardware and software systems that are currently maintained by US Army Futures Command, Combat Capabilities Development Command – Soldier Center (CCDC-SC). A firm-fixed-price contract will be issued. This is not a request for quotes. No solicitation package is available. Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
