Original Set Aside:

This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract and is not a request for competitive proposal. However, if interested, Government shall consider all responses. Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) intends to solicit a proposal and enter into a contract with Cepheid, Sunnyvale, CA. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) per FAR 6.302-1(c). Contract will be evaluated on Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Please reference N63116-22-Q-0504 on all quotes. The NAICS code for this contract will be 811219. NHRC requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with System for Award Management (SAM). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in SAM. In order to register with SAM and be eligible to receive an award from this Acquisition Office, all offerors must have a DUN & Bradstreet Number. Maintenance is being requested for equipment in laboratories at Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) in San Diego. All maintenance will be performed at San Diego 92152. As NHRC is a Government facility, no sales tax will be paid. All quotes must include the Company Name, Full Address, CAGE Code and Point of Contact information including Name, Phone Number and E-Mail address. All invoices for this maintenance order will be submitted electronically through Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) - Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). This contract will require base access for all personnel maintaining equipment. In order to access Naval Health Research Center at Naval Base Point Loma, service providers will need to be enrolled in the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS). Providing registration information is voluntary. However, failure to provide Social Security Number and Driver's License Number or other acceptable identification may result in a denial of access. Additional information on the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) can be found athttps://dbids-global.dmdc.mil/enroll#!/ Description: This Contract will be awarded for an Annual Maintenance Service Contract for five (5) GX2XES1Y, Essential Care – Xpress 4x2 Contracts. The Serial numbers of the GXIV-2-CLIA, GeneXpert IV-2 Site Systems that will be covered are 841724, 841726, 841729, 845149 and 845150. Service Coverage – Essential Care: Standard Hours Phone Support (Monday – Friday 5:00 am – 7:00 pm PST) Unlimited Standard Hours Phone Support Two (2) day On-site Response Next Day System Swap Labor and Parts Coverage Xpert® Check with FSE on-site Service will be performed at Naval Health Research Center (NHRC) at Naval Base Point Loma, San Diego, CA.
