**Amendment 0003 11/10/2021 The Purpose of this amendment is to incorporate C.26 52.223-99 ENSURING ADEQUATE COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS FOR FEDERAL CONTRACTORS (OCT 2021)(DEVIATION) **Amendment 0002 09/27/2021 The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate C.25 COMPLIANCE WITH EXECUTIVE ORDER ENSURING ADEQUATE COVID SAFETYPROTOCOLS FOR FEDERAL CONTRACTS **Amendment 0001 09/15/2021 The purpose of this amendment is to: Answer industry questions. The objective of this solicitation and any resulting contract is to obtain Aviation Maintenance Services for US Forest Service fleet aircraft. The Contractor will provide for shop maintenance meeting the minimum requirements of the solicitation on an on-demand basis. The US Forest Service has a requirement to maintain US Forest Service fleet aircraft in Redding, CA, Missoula, MT, Redmond, OR, Broomfield, CO and Boise, ID. The resulting contract(s) will be Base + 4 Option year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract(s) with a guarantee $2,500 over the course of the contract. The solicitation and resulting contract will include Alternate 1 of the Government Property Clause. Please note that FAR 52.245-1 Alternate 1, shifts the risk of any loss of Government Property to the Contractor as follows. 52.245-1, Alternate I (Apr 2012). As prescribed in 45.107(a)(2), substitute the following for paragraph (h)(1) of the basic clause: (h)(1) The Contractor assumes the risk of, and shall be responsible for, any loss of Government property upon its delivery to the Contractor as Government-furnished property. However, the Contractor is not responsible for reasonable wear and tear to Government property or for Government property properly consumed in performing this contract. The resulting contract(s) will be firm fixed rate IDIQ Contract for aviation maintenance services.
