Original Set Aside:

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Northwestern Division, Portland District (NWP) is hosting a pre-solicitation site visit at John Day Lock and Dam on the Columbia River. The project is titled, “John Day Dam Turbine Replacement and Generator Rewind”. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) for this potential requirement is 237990, “Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction”. The related size standard is $39.5M. In response to Industry feedback the Portland District is offering a preliminary, pre-solicitation site visit to familiarize interested bidders with project site conditions. The primary focus of this site visit will be logistics: lay-down area, site plans, entry into powerhouse, cranes, transportation, storage, and staging areas.
