Dominguez, Contract Specialist, PHONE: 210-740-9066, EMAIL: patricia.dominguez@dla.mil Willard Ramseur, Contracting Officer, PHONE: 210-218-5541, EMAIL: willard.ramseur@dla.mil Defense Logistics Agency Energy (DLA Energy), as the Department of Defense (DOD) Integrated Materiel Manager (IMM) for Aerospace Energy intends to execute a sole source procurement for the production and delivery of 30,000 lbs. annually of Monomethyl Hydrazine (MMH), NSN: 9135-00-148-9813, IAW MIL-PRF-27404D, dated 20 Apr 2012, delivered F.O.B Destination and all related ancillary services in support of operations at Kennedy Space Center (KSC), FL, and Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB), CA to support DoD, FedCiv, and Commercial Space Launch requirements; for a period of performance of 1 February 2022 – 31 January 2025. The anticipated Award Date is 31 January 2022. As stated under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), statutory authority for this contracting action is 10 U.S.C.§2304(c)(1). The head of an agency may use procedures other than competitive procedures when there is a reasonable basis to conclude that the agency’s minimum needs can be satisfied by only one supplier with unique capabilities to meet the entire requirement. The Government intends to award a one (1) year contract with three (3) option years, Firm Fixed Price contract using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items procedures.
