Description:
WHS/AD is conducting market research only by seeking vendors to provide a single page response by 29 Nov 2021. The response must include company name, point of contact capable of obligating the company, and CAGE. In the response, explain if the company is capable of providing the following membership services. WHS/AD is seeking capable vendors to provide the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) an annual membership for persistent identifiers Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for technical reports with establishment of DOIs for both legacy and new public technical reports. PSC T099 PHOTO/MAP/PRINT/PUBLICATION- OTHER and NAICS 519130 Internet Publishing, Broadcasting, & Web Portals The DOIs ensure a persistent location and actionable identifier for DTIC’s online intellectual property and add value to DTIC’s electronic documents by providing a linking agreement with all publishers and providing inbound links from publisher’s cited sources. A DOI link is a persistent link unlike a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) used in citations and database records. Additionally, DTIC seeks a linking agreement with all participating DOI publishers. DTIC will need an annual membership which includes up to 10,000 DOIs annually for new documents, and an excess of up to 10,000 legacies (pre-2021) documents in the first year. The product will be delivered electronically. The membership period of performance will be for five (5) years which includes one base year and four (4) option years. Period of performance 01 January 2022 – 31 December 2026
