Description:
The Federal Protective Service Acquisitions Division (FPSAD) is seeking information regarding small business vendors (under NAICS 561612) that can provide armed Protective Services Officer (PSO) services at federally owned or leased facilities throughout Northern California. This geographic area is approximately 62,000 square miles and extends from Oregon’s southern border south to the city of Modesto across 32 counties. The most densely populated cities requiring services are in the cities Oakland, Fresno and Sacramento, however, there are several remote single post locations in cities such as Crescent City and Yreka near the Oregon border and Susanville and South Lake Tahoe near California’s border with Nevada. Staffing the 65 geographically dispersed federal facilities and 171 individual posts requires a PSO force of approximately 250 PSOs. FPSAD is seeking information from small business vendors who have performed armed PSO efforts in the last three years that were approximately 525k hours per year. Vendors must be fully licensed in Northern California to perform this type of service, have a facility clearance of “Top Secret,” and shall be registered on the sam.gov website. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes. It DOES NOT constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Quote (RFQ). This RFI does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. Further, FPS is not at this time seeking proposals/quotations and will not accept unsolicited proposals/quotations. Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to the RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP/RFQ, if any is issued. Interested parties are directed to respond to this RFI no later than 3:00PM ET on November 9, 2021 to Kelly Minturn at Kelly.m.minturn@fps.dhs.gov using the attached form. The total number of pages for the overall RFI response should not exceed three (3) pages. All response details must be provided in Times New Roman font 12 and single spaced.
