Original Set Aside:

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to conduct other than full and open competition modification to contract N00024-14-C-5104 to Lockheed Martin Corp located in Moorestown, New Jersey. The awarded modification will satisfy the completion of AEGIS Ship Intergation and Test (SI&T) requirements. The order will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Lockheed Martin is the only qualified source that possesses the in-depth technical expertise, knowledge, resources, and understanding of the SI&T engineering efforts to satisfy the Government’s requirements within the scope of the contract. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all expressions of interest received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Any submissions will not be reimbursed by the Government - the entire cost of any submission will be at the sole expense of the source submitting the informaiton. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for informational purposes only and for the benefit of potential subcontractors. Companies intered in subcontracting opportunites must contact Lockheed Martin directly.
