Description:
Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Agile Combat Support Directorate, Simulators Division (AFLCMC/WNS) plans to competitively award a contract to provide the Formal Training Unit (FTU) schoolhouse operations for unique crew positions across eight Mission Design Series (MDS) aircraft (AC/HC/MC-130J, CV-22, HH-60G, HH-60W, UH-1N and MH-139A), and initial qualification training for AFSOC Special Operations Forces (SOF) aircrews, all training for Air Combat Command (ACC) Personnel Recovery (PR) aircrews, all training for Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) Vertical Lift Aircrews in Nuclear Security Response, and all training for Convoy Support and AF District of Washington (AFDW) Vertical Lift Aircrews in Continuity of Government and Continuity of Operations. The baseline requirements are for aircrew instruction (initial/mission qualification, refresher, upgrade, and currency), student services, concurrency management, and courseware. KDAM ATARS will consist of a total of 33 devices, both Aircrew Training Devices (ATDs) and Maintenance Training Devices (MTDs) located at the following locations: Kirtland AFB, Joint Base Andrews, Davis-Monthan AFB, Moody AFB, Nellis AFB, Patrick AFB, JB Elmendorf AFB, Moffett Field, CA, Gabreski, NY, Kadena AFB, Aviano AFB, Maxwell AFB, Malmstrom AFB, FE Warren AFB and Minot AFB. This notice is similar to FA8621-22-R-0099, but has less baseline requirements. Your answers will be used help determine the appropriate contracting strategy for the KDAM Follow On Program. During I/ITSEC held in Orlando, Florida, 29 November 2021 – 3 December 2021, Ms. Cecelia Boker, KDAM ATARS Program Manager, and Mr. Dave Suttling, KDAM ATARS Contracting Officer, will provide a KDAM ATARS program update and then be available for a limited number of one-on-one sessions with industry. The KDAM ATARS Program will be presented at 3:00pm EST on 1 December 2021 in the Orlando Convention Center, Conference Room C230C. Note: Time will be very limited for questions during these presentations. We also are setting aside seven (7), 30-minute blocks of time for one-on-one discussions. 19 November 2021 UPDATE: The seven (7), 30-minute blocks of time for one-on-one discussions for Industry Day has been established, and provided below.
