Original Set Aside:

This sole source effort for MCARS C-ICP will be awarded to The Boeing Company (Cage Code: 022T1) under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This action will result in the award of a Firm Fixed Price, IDDQ contract for the C-ICP in support of MCARs, with a 12 month basic period plus one annual option period. The period of performance (PoP) is projected to be 31 Dec 2021 through 30 December 2023 unless the option to extend services is exercised which will extend the contract through 30 June 2024. The primary objective of the MC-130 Air Refueling System (MCARS) Contractor-Inventory Control Point (C-ICP) is to provide material management and supply support for MCARS-unique components as well as provide storage for MCARS system components removed from MC-130H aircraft. This requirement will ensure MCARS remains sustainable for the Air Force Special Operations Command, Combat Talon II aircraft. These services will benefit the Air Force by ensuring C-ICP support of the MCARS system. C-ICP support for the MCARS system will benefit the Air Force by providing timely supply support and material management for Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) aircraft. This support will allow AFSOC to meet Special Operations Command (SOCOM) mission requirements by supporting air refueling operations for rotary and vertical lift aircraft.
