This amendment adds Questions and Answers. "Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.” The 97th Contracting Flight, Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for acquisition of Wet Chemical Fire Suppresion System services at Altus AFB, Oklahoma. A site visit will be held on Friday, 15 October at 10:00 AM CST Any questions shall be submitted via email to the below points of contacts by Monday, 18 October 2021 at 4:00 PM CST. The Contractor shall provide non-personal services to include all management, tools, supplies, equipment, material, transportation, labor and accessories necessary to inspect, maintain, test and repair wet chemical fire suppression systems at Altus AFB, Oklahoma, in a manner that will ensure continuous and safe operation. The Fire Prevention Office (FPO) shall act as the subject matter expert (SME). This requirement will begin on 01 December 2021 and will have a 12-month base period with the possibility of four (4) 12-month option periods. This acquisition will fall under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811310. The proposed solicitation will be competed as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management Database (SAM) prior to submission of proposals. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DoD SAM prior to submission of proposal will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
