Combined Synopsis/Solicitation (Best Value) The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Aviation Operations/Marine Operations Center – Pacific requires three each left hand rotation and three each right hand rotation raw water pumps for NOAA Ships Rainier and Fairweather. Components must be brand name or equal to Progress Rail EMD and must be compatible with EMD 567C marine engines. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation number NMAN2122-22-00199 is issued as a firm fixed price, commercial, request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-07. (iv) The NAICS code for this acquisition is 333996, Fluid Power Pump and Motor Manufacturing; the small business size standard is 1,250 Employees.
