This item is used by the Armed Services in emergency situations where water and resupply is not available. It is potable, colorless, odorless, and hermetically sealed in either a 4 fluid ounce or 125 ml trilaminate, disposable flexible pouch, with or without a spout. A Long Term Contract will be awarded to the successful offerors having a Base Year and 2 additional 12 month Tiers for a total of 3 years. It will be a Firm Fixed Price contract with no EPA clauses and awarded to the Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offeror. The Technical factor will be an acceptable Product Demonstration Model (PDM) evaluated by the Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineer Center (NSRDEC).
