THIS WILL BE SOLICITED AS A LETTER SOLICITATION TO RAYTHEON INTELLIGENCE AND SPACE, CAGE 072E5, AND WILL BE AWARDED AS A DELIVERY ORDER AGAINST BASIC ORDERING AGREEMENT SPRPA1-20-G-CP01. THE SOLICITATION WILL OPEN ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2021 AND CLOSE ON SEPTEMBER 16, 2021. PR No: 0086695784. This solicitation will contain 1 NSN for a Converter, Frequency used on the FA-18 Aircraft. This solicitation is for award of a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The NSN and quantities are as follows: NSN: 5895-01-119-9584 Sources: Raytheon, CAGE 072E5, part number: 259296 Herley Industries, CAGE 32187, part number MD47X3 DELIVERY WILL BE 820 DAYS ARO. Surge requirements do not apply. AN ENHANCED EXPORT CONTROL BIDSET EXISTS FOR THIS NSN. CONTRACTOR FIRST ARTICLE TESTING APPLIES. A CONFIDENTIAL DOCUMENT IS INCLUDED IN THE TECHNICAL DATA PACKAGE THAT SUPPORTS THIS MATERIAL. Solicitation will be Unrestricted. The final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. A 100% Quantity Option will not apply. A REVERSE AUCTION will take place if two or more qualified proposals are received. The anticipated issue date is on or about September 14, 2021. The anticipated award date is October 31, 2021. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
