SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Diesel engine fuel service truck NOTICE: THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION, BUT RATHER A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS TO DETERMINE POTENTIAL SOURCES FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY. NO FORMAL SOLICITATION FOR THIS WORK EXISTS AT THIS TIME The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region, has a requirement to solicit for one 6X6 550 hp Automatic transmission diesel engine fuel service truck. The work to be performed is described below. This request is issued to under the NAICS code listed below. Based upon responses to this announcement, the Government may determine to set this acquisition aside or proceed with an unrestricted solicitation. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336211 Tank trucks (e.g., fuel oil, milk, water) assembling on purchased chassis. and the related small business size standard is 1000 Employees. This notice is not a request for proposals/quotations and the information presented in this announcement will not obligate the Bureau of Reclamation in any manner. Background The Bureau of Reclamation, Socorro Field Division, in Socorro New Mexico has determined a need for the purchase of a fuel transport service truck to replace existing equipment that is not meeting the Government's needs. Objective The primary objectives are to improve working conditions and equipment deficiencies for Government personnel performing work and refueling operations for the Socorro Field Division construction office. A draft Statement of Work (SOW) is included with this Sources Sought Notice which states the tasks and specific specifications that are needed for this requirement. Interested vendors are encouraged to respond with their capabilities statement which demonstrates the firm's experience and capability to perform the principal components of the services listed above. Packages should include the following information: 1. Business Name and Address 2. Point of Contact to include E-Mail Address and Telephone Number 3. DUNS 4. NAICS code(s) applicable to this requirement 5. Business Size and Type: 8(a), HUBZone, Women-owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Small Business, Large Businesses, etc. 6. Demonstrate the firm's experience by providing a list of at least three relevant past projects completed within the past five years on similar work. All responses must be submitted via email to Contract Specialist Washington Bennett at wbennett@usbr.gov by November 17, 2021. Again, Offerors shall not provide a proposal in response to this Sources Sought Notice. All businesses are encouraged to limit responses to no more than 10 pages in length. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities, and qualifications of potential contractors for solicitation planning purposes only. This is NOT a request for proposals and is NOT to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this sources sought notice. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this notice. All vendors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. When it is determined that a formal solicitation will be issued, a Pre-Solicitation Notice will be posted on the Beta.SAM.gov Federal Contract Opportunities at https://beta.sam.gov.
