Original Set Aside:

1. The new Commercial Weather Data Pilot (CWDP) is an effort to establish a pilot to assess the viability of commercial satellite weather and assess the utility of commercially available space weather data in filling Space Based Environmental Monitoring (SBEM) gaps. Enhanced Weather Prediction (EWP) is a new effort to grow Air Force weather prediction capabilities. A high level of interest for the Air Force in this endeavor is to develop, exploit, and integrate coupled atmospheric and oceanographic models and data, and in training next-generation machine learning (ML)/artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to provide potential improvements to current environmental model processes and output 2. See attached Broad Agency Announcement Statement of Objectives for further information and response criterias. 3. The first round of questions was due to the contracting officer and contracting specialist no later than 5PM EST 15 January 2021. Questions will be compiled, answered, and released via this same site (Contract Opportunities). Answers to the first round of questions can be found in the "Questions-Answers_3Feb21" attachment. 4. The second round of questions is due to the contracting officer and contracting specialist no later than 5PM EST 1 May 2021.
