Delivery for this procurement is DLA Direct. Inspection/Acceptance at Destination, FOB at Origin, First Destination Transportation (FDT) applies. Production delivery is 306 DARO. RESTRICTION ON THE ACQUISITION OF BALL AND ROLLER BEARINGS (JUN 2011). An award can only be made for a bearing manufactured in the United States, its outlying areas, or Canada and the cost of the bearing components (bearing element, retainer, inner race, outer race) manufactured in the United States, its outlying areas, or Canada must exceed 50% of the total cost of the bearing components of that ball or roller bearing. See DFARS Clause 252.225-7016, RESTRICTION ON ACQUISITION OF BALL AND ROLLER BEARINGS (Jun 2011). A Contractor's declaration on the domestic/foreign nature of the material being offered is required. In the event no offered bearings meet this sourcing requirement, this solicitation may be cancelled and a waiver may be requested by the procurement activity. Upon receipt of an approved waiver, the requirement may be resolicited. See FAR 225.7009-4, Waiver, Restriction on Ball and Roller Bearings (DEC 2010). Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) applies. Price, Past Performance and Delivery may be equally weighted. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This request is for a written proposal.
