This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Notice (SSN). On behalf of the Department of Defense and its team members, the General Services Administration (GSA) Region 5 Federal Acquisition Service Contracting Division is conducting market research to determine the availability and technical capability of vendors, both large and small businesses (including the following subsets, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, HUBZone Firms; Certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, and Woman Owned Small Business), to provide the required supplies and ancillary services required by the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS). A contract in support of this effort is currently being performed by L3 Harris Technologies, Inc. (L3); that award was made on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. As required by the sole source justification executed to support the contract award, the Government is conducting an annual SSN to gather insight into the vendor activity and capabilities currently available in the market. Responses to this SSN will be reviewed and used to determine whether or not there have been any significant changes to the industry that would alter the need to continue in a sole source environment. Reference should be made to the attached SSN document and the DRAFT PWS. Responses to this notice shall be submitted in accordance with the attached documents no later than 1700 CST on December 17, 2021.
