Original Set Aside:

Please find vendors questions and answers below. What is the parts description for this requirement? The part description is a circuit breaker replacement part. Would a reconditioning proposal on the existing equipment be acceptable? Reconditioned is acceptable if it is certified and carries at least the warranty and meets the manufactured specifications. What is the serial/parts numbers for the Power-VAC? The part number is: GE POWERVAC MANUAL GROUND AND TEST DEVICE, TYPE PVV-1200/2000-10. What is the equipment information from where the manual ground and test device will be installed? It is a whole incoming switchgear from the City of Baltimore. It has (3) incoming feeds at 13,200 volts each. Each side of this switchgear holds one breaker and there is a tie-bus breaker in the middle in case we lose a feed we can operate off the 3rd standby feed. The problem is you cannot switch from one to the other without ensuring the grounding from the phases coming in from the (3) separate feeds have the same ground potential. If not, major ARC Flash, or destruction of Power Equipment can result. Would the product have to be installed while the switchgear is hot? The switchgear will be hot but not in the area the testing device is used. It will be off.Â
