Original Set Aside:

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to enter into sole source negotiations with Analytic Systems Ware (1993) Ltd., located in Delta BC V4G 1K5 Canada, for the procurement of 500VA (Volts-Amperes) Industrial Frequency Converters (Part Number (P/N) FCA500-AM-3U2LT-T9791). The ruggedized Frequency Converter, which converts 115VAC 60Hz input voltage to 115VAC 400Hz output voltage, is required to support the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye Aircraft Aerial Refueling (AR) Program. Analytic Systems Ware (1993) Ltd. owns the proprietary data for the 500VA Industrial Frequency Converters (P/N FCA500-AM-3U2LT-T9791) and does not have any authorized distributors. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
