Description:
The purpose of this pre-solicitation notice is to give interested offerors the opportunity to start finding qualified personnel. This requirement is in accordance with the Methods for Surveying Marbled Murrelets in Forests: Revised Protocol for Land Management and Research, dated 6 January 2003. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The General Services Administration (GSA) intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on behalf of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) for a Single Award, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) commercial services contract for Marbled Murrelet Surveys, located in the Northwest Oregon District area of responsibility which includes the following BLM field offices: Mary’s Peak, Tillamook, and Siuslaw. The anticipated period of performance (POP) is 12 months from date of award with four (4) subsequent annual option periods. It is projected that an award will be made not later than 1 March 2022. The NAICS code is 541690 and the small business size standard is $16.5 Million. A single award will be made based on Best Value Tradeoff evaluation criteria. The Government anticipates that the solicitation issue date will be on or about 1 December 2021 with response date of on or about 15 December 2021. Potential awardees must have an active SAM registration prior to contract award. While not a requirement, potential offerors are encouraged to email the contract specialist at brian.begley@gsa.gov by 30 November 2021 to specify their interest in this requirement.
