Description:
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The following work will be performed at the Baton Rouge Federal Courthouse, 707 Florida Avenue Baton Rouge, LA 70801. The scope of work consists of but is not strictly limited to the complete replacement of the existing fire alarm system with a new, emergency voice/alarm communication fire alarm system in accordance with NFPA 72 and P-100 in all areas of intelligibility, audibility, and ADA compliance. The Baton Rouge Federal Courthouse is a three-story building built in 1933 which includes a basement and mechanical mezzanine consisting of 60,000 square feet. The estimated cost range for all work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Work to be performed under the contemplated contract will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238210 with a size standard of $16.5 Million. All offerors are advised that this procurement will be a HUBZONE set aside. This project may be revised or canceled at any time during the sources sought, synopsis, solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and final award. In responding to this sources sought, please indicate your: (1) interest as a contractor (2) whether or not your company is a small business and any socio-economic category your company may qualify as (3) brief description of your firm’s past experience completing the replacement of a fire alarm system, and (4) a complete and current record of your System for Award Management (SAM – www.sam.gov) information which includes DUNS number, Organization name, address, contact name, email address, Web site address, telephone number, type of organization, and small business type(s). It is anticipated that this project will take approximately 540 calendar days to complete. Please note that there is no solicitation available at this time; the purpose of this announcement is to identify available sources only. Award of any resulting procurement will be based on a source selection employing a "Best Value Concept" methodology. Submit this information to the Contract Specialist listed below via e-mail only.
