Description:
Questions and answers: Is the total effort 600 hours full time and 10 hours overtime? The majority of the work will be performed during normal working hours. Emergency operations or troubleshooting would require limited O/T being used as approved by the site contracting officer representative. 10 hours overtime is estimated for bidding purposes. Is the engineer required to have a PE valid in LA?    Just a PE. It can be from another state. Is there a requirement for a surety clearance? If so what level? No security clearance will be required. No VA sensitive information will be accessible to the engineer. Vetting will be performed by the VA police service for contractor badging. What is the past performance requirement? Past performance of the proposed Engineer will be required to have performed 5 years of high voltage Construction design or field level management of high voltage work. Who is the incumbent contractor and what is their contract number? This is a new requirement. Will you defer the due date until 7 days after receipt of answers? The deadline for submissions remains unchanged.
