PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision in accordance with construction documents, drawings and specifications to complete Project 607-18-108 Renovate 4B, Bldg. 1 at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, Madison, WI. This project involves renovations (demolition and construction) to approximately 10,000 sq ft of space on the Fourth floor of B-Wing, associated work in mechanical rooms located on 5B and will also include coordinated work on 3B to accomplish require plumbing connections. Work also includes but is not limited to: coordination of subcontractors including, demolition; hazardous material removal and disposal; carpentry; interior finishes, window and door installations; pneumatic tube system modifications, patient lift installations, plumbing, medical gas, fire protection; new air handling unit; HVAC ductwork, piping and controls, electrical power and lighting, intercom, CCTV, nurse call, fire alarm and security systems, and telecommunications. The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on Contact Opportunities. There will be a pre-bid conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation package. Pursuant to Public Law 109-461, this solicitation is set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003(b), at the time of submission of bids, and prior to award of any contracts, the offeror must represent to the contracting officer that it is a; (1) SDVOSB eligible vendor IAW VAAR Subpart 819.70; https://www.va.gov/oal/library/vaar/vaar819.asp#8197001 (2) Small business concern under the NAICS code assigned to this acquisition; and (3) SDVOSB listed as verified in VIP CVE-VetBiz database at: VIP Home  · VetBiz Portal (va.gov)  The solicitation will be issued on or about 20 September 2021 with the bid opening on or about 20 October 2021. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from Contact Opportunities which may be issued to this solicitation. The project magnitude range is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 236220; size standard $39.5 Million applies. Time for completion is 550 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
