The Statement of Work (SOW) has been updated to include VHA Supplemental Health Requirements. FAR 52.223-99 Ensuring Adequate COVID-19 Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors is hereby incorporated into this solicitation. The proposal due is changed to November 5, 2021 at 1:00 PM EST _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ PRESOLICITATION NOTICE Project #558-17-150 Renovate PACU The Department of Veterans Affairs, 508 Fulton Street, Durham, NC has a requirement for renovation and expansion of the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), at the Durham VA Medical Center, Durham, NC. General Scope: The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, parts, supervision, and quality control necessary to gut and renovate approximately 4,400 square feet of space centrally located on the 4th floor of the existing Durham VA Medical Center. To maintain adequate patient flow from twelve (12) OR s to PACU beds the VA will expand the PACU into the adjoining pain care clinic. PACU expansion will provide sixteen (16) recovery bays and one (1) isolation room. The existing PACU has eight (8) recovery bays and one (1) isolation recovery room. The work is to be accomplished in phases. Estimated construction magnitude is between $2,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. NAICS CODE: 236220; Size Standard: $16.5 Million This solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about September 17, 2021. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation. A date for the site visit will be specified in the solicitation when issued. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for proposals.
