The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 2, Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a Firm-Fixed Price sole source purchase order with Stryker Medical for the purpose of replacing the Stryker ProCuity Beds at the Buffalo VA. The Government intends to negotiate solely with Stryker -FAR 8.405-6 -(a) (1)(b), as no other source of supplies will satisfy agency requirements. Stryker is a unique source. Stryker has a mandatory BPA contract to supply the ProCuity Beds under VHA NAC FSS# (36F79721D0021) and as well as a VANEC BPA (36C24520A0010) The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 339113 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will not pay for information submitted. Inquiries will only be accepted via email to Duane.philgence@va.gov and will consider responses received by 1:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on 12/21/2021. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
