Original Set Aside:

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) intends to negotiate a sole source, commercial item contract with the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO), 700 Galleria Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30339. The title of the project is NRC Access to the INPO Industry Reporting and Information System (IRIS) Data and Records. Specifically, INPO will be required to provide computer access to the ICES, the associated training and support services, and copies of the ICES component data. ICES is a web-based database that provides information on components important to nuclear plant safety and reliability. ICES was developed to meet current and projected industry needs for component-level information exchange and to replace the Nuclear Plant Reliability Data System (NPRDS). ICES also provides access to the retrieval of data reported to NPRDS from January 1973 through December 1996. ICES is a proprietary database managed by INPO for exclusive use by its member organizations. The NRC has confirmed that the ICES is currently only available from INPO. The NRC intends to award a firm fixed price contract beginning on January 1, 2022 with a base period of one year and four one year options.
