Original Set Aside:

Please make sure you attend to the below updated notification, the following answered questions as well as the uploaded Amended Solicitation. Thank you! The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, TX, intends to issue solicitation 15B11421Q00000012 for the provision of Mobile MRI, CT & Ultrasound services. The contractor will provide these services in the Health Services Department at FCC Petersburg, located at 1060 River Road, Hopewell, Virginia 23860. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The award will be made to the responsible vendor or individual who submits the lowest quote to the Government. More details forthcoming within the solicitation. A session is defined as a site visit. The Contractor will normally provide a maximum of 3 sessions per month, which includes one session for each of the services (MRI, CT and Ultrasound), when necessary. The goal is to have the same personnel perform both MRI/CT services on as needed, but each service will be provided different days and have another dedicated personnel for the Ultrasound services, who would actually perform services in the Health Services Department. Work hours will normally be between 7:00 am-3:30pm, Monday- Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. Based upon previously required services, an estimated number of 12 sessions per year will be performed for MRI/CT and 12 sessions per year for Ultrasound at flat rates per visit. Previously required services determined the total of inmates to be scheduled during site visits at the mutual agreement between the agency and contractor, and based primarily on the number of approved consultation requests and exam due dates. The Contractor will provide a dedicated Certified Technologist (the same candidate can do both the MRI and CT as long as he/she has the certifications for both) and a driver (and an alternate to replace original driver for any reason) since the truck will be behind the fence at the institution. The Contractor will provide a dedicated Certified Ultrasound Technologist. Required credentials and such are listed in the solicitation. The Government intends to award a requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from this solicitation. The contract period shall consist of a base year and four option years. The solicitation will be available on or about September 17, 2021 and will be distributed solely through the SAMs website (www.SAM.gov). All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about October 29, 2021 (Extended). Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations can submit quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Insert the clause FAR 52.204-13, System for Award Management Maintenance, in solicitations that contain the provision at 52.204-7, and resulting contracts. This clause requires all contractors doing business with the federal government after September 30, 2003, to be registered in the SAM database on the SAMs website (www.SAM.gov). Contractors should include their Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number in their offers. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award by entering the potential awardees DUNS number into the SAM database. The acquisition is total unrestricted. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 621512 with a small business size standard of $16.5M. Please see additional questions asked with responses below. 1. Is there shore power for the MRI and CT unit or will a generator be required? A generator is required. 2.
