Quotes: Quotes from this solicitation MUST be marked 1240LT22Q0012 and be submitted in writing to Lonnie D. Root, Contracting Officer via Email to lonnie.root@usda.gov Project Description: The Contractor shall furnish all management, labor, equipment, supervision, tools, materials, transportation, operating supplies, supervision, workman’s compensation, unemployment insurance and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specification and provisions of the contract. Rock may be encountered during excavation. Any excess material shall be incorporated and blended into the site. Seed and straw all disturbed areas. Base: This base project consists of the removal and replacement of two (2) existing toilet that were damaged in 2020 fires. The new stick-built toilets shall be double toilets with a concrete vault and constructed superstructure. The replacement toilet will be in the same location as the existing toilets. Option: Line item 5 includes construction of ADA pathways to (3) three toilet structures (two new and one existing) on site. This will include preparation, placing bedding, and leveling. Project Location: From the Sulfur Ranger District Information Office head east on 10-mile Dr. toward US-40 W. Turn left at the 1st cross street onto US-40w and travel for 2.0 miles. Turn right onto US-34 E and travel for 5.2 miles. Turn left onto CO Rd 40 and travel for 3.7 miles to reach Willow Creek Campground at CO Rd 40, Granby, CO 80446. Alternative route through private may be authorized for use if needed by the District Ranger if permit from landowner is completed. From the Sulfur Ranger District information office head east on 10-mile Dr. toward US-40 W. Turn left at the 1st cross street onto US-40w and travel for 2.0 miles. Turn right onto US-34 E and travel for 5.2 miles. If the above alternative access rout is required for construction, it shall be through a private road with FS access agreement. Access scheduling and timing for use shall be coordinated between the Contractor, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers, Forest Service and Landowner. Preferred access timing is on Thursdays between 1000am and 1200pm. There is low hanging sign with a rope to pull it up out of the way if needed. The Contractor shall provide a work plan and schedule that demonstrates how the work will be completed and in what time frame at the pre work meeting.
