Original Set Aside:

The Peace Corps, Office of the Chief Financial Officer/Acquisition and Contract Management, hereby gives notice of intent to award a single source Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to Cardinal Health 200, LLC, 3651 Birchwood Dr., Waukegan, IL 60085, UNITED STATES, for the various medical supplies. The period of performance for this effort will be for 5 years from date of award. The procurement will be issued under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106(b), Soliciting from a single source, and using simplified acquisition procedures per FAR Part 13. The Peace Corps anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price single award BPA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423450 – Medical, Dental, And Hospital Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers. The Peace Corps has a requirement to provide Medical / Surgical supplies to the Office of Management (OM) / Administrative Services (AS) / Post Logistics and Support Division (PLS). The scope of this requirement includes all supplies required to provide the necessary medical / surgical products to all medical offices for the US Peace Corps (See attached item list). PLS will be responsible for placing all orders and managing the logistical support for ensuring supplies are delivered to Post. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of the Peace Corps.
