Trade Agreement: NONE Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: N/A - P&A/LOI Only Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Medical Transportation System Solution - Summary of Feedback and Outcomes Report The intent of this notice is to publish a document that provides a summary of feedback received from the Industry Engagement Phase 2 of Request for Information (RFI) for the Medical Transportation System Solution (MTSS) Project, HT426-184464/C. Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), on behalf of Indigenous Services Canada (ISC), released a RFI on February 19, 2021 on BuyandSell.gc.ca to engage with, and elicit feedback from the Medical Transportation (MT) management industry representatives and others interested in providing feedback on solutions in regards to the potential future needs of ISC’s Non-Insured Health Benefit (NIHB) Medical Transportation benefit. The objectives of the RFI (HT426-184464/C) were to: I.To share scenarios about specific NIHB needs for solution components and improved or reengineered services, and: a. to seek technical solutions and best practices from industry; b. to share revised requirements for industry’s input; c. to identify, explore and assess opportunities for innovation; d. to seek feedback from industry on specific questions that will assist Canada in further refining MTSS requirements and solution components; and e. to seek feedback from industry on services (such as claims processing) that could improve the administration of the MT benefit. II. To share information on the Indigenous Participation Component (IPC), and: a. to help industry achieve readiness to meet Indigenous procurement requirements; and b. to seek feedback from industry that will assist Canada in identifying potential IPC scenarios. The information and feedback obtained throughout this Industry Engagement Phase 2 process has given some insight into industry’s current capabilities. It is understood that additional feedback must be gathered to enable ISC to better define the project’s full requirements, as well as to identify any challenges industry may foresee related to the project.
