Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: RESTORATION OF PLACE GEORGE V, QUEBEC CITY (QUEBEC) DESCRIPTION The work of this project aims to restore Place George V, located in front of the Voltigeurs de Québec Armoury and located at 805 Wilfrid-Laurier Avenue in Quebec City (Quebec), Canada. More specifically, the work includes (but is not limited to): - demolition of existing surfaces; - the dismantling, reassembly and restoration of four commemoratives monuments; - excavation and disposal of contaminated soil; - construction of an underground electrical room; - the establishment of a rainwater retention basin; - the installation of lighting and electrical distribution devices; - the development of surface covering in precast concrete pavers, stone and grass; - the construction of the edges of concrete and stone walls; - the purchase and installation of various urban furniture; - planting plants. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS REGARDING BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: In order to respond to this bid solicitation, bidders must submit their bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application. Please refer to GI16 - Submission of proposal for more information. Bids in hard copy (delivered in person or by mail or courier) or transmitted by facsimile will not be accepted in this bid solicitation. SITE VISIT/BIDDER’S CONFERENCE There will be no site visit as the site is open to the public. A bidders' conference to present the project will be held virtually on February 22, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Bidders interested in joining the conference are requested to contact the Contracting Authority by email at francois.thellend@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca no later than noon on February 21, 2022. A link to join the conference will be shared with bidders who indicate their intention to participate in the afternoon of February 21. Any clarifications or changes made to the bid solicitation as a result of the bidders' conference will be included in the bid solicitation as an amendment. Bidders who do not attend the conference may still submit a bid. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS There is no security requirement applicable to this Bid Solicitation.
